I was so thrilled when I got an email from Molly a few weeks ago telling me that she was pregnant and wanted me to take her maternity photos! I love getting the opportunity to continue photographing my couples through all their big moments in life. It was so great seeing Molly again and I was psyched to have her mom and sister there to help! Her sister was just as excited about these photos as she was on Molly’s wedding day. I kept hearing her giddie laughter behind me as we shot. It was such a fun shoot!!!!
The other fun part was that I got to play with some off-camera flash again. I am really happy with the result! Here are some to check out… Molly Maternity
I was so happy to take Becca and Jared’s engagement photos while they were in town from Texas! They were open to absolutely anything and we got to take some fun shots with their two sweet doggies. We started just before sunset at Lee Martinez park in Fort Collins and took it into Old Town as the sun went down. I had been completely addicted to experimenting with what I learned at the One Light workshop this summer, so I decided to play with my off camera flash. I’m REALLY excited about how the photos turned out! I can’t wait to play more at their wedding in Katy, TX this May! Here are some of my favorite shots… Becca and Jared
I got to take some really fun photos for the Swan family this year! Their two girls cam all dressed up like princesses so we could play at the park, then they changed for some more “Christmassy” photos. I absolutely love capturing families and how they interact together. It’s such a special bond. The Swans were no acception. Here are some shots from their session… Swans
Well AEDG was happy with my first outing, so they sent me out to shoot some more! This time I got to go all around Denver. Here are some of my favorites… AEDG2
Happy 2009! I have totally slacked on my blogging so this is my first post of the new year…
Benjamin and Rachel came out to Colorado from Pennsylvania and Texas to have me take their engagement photos. Their story is so inspiring and exciting to me! They were friends all through college, then decided to tie the knot recently. There engagement session was the first time they ever held hands! It was so thrilling to be a part of that. What a great couple. Here are some shots from the session… Benjamin and Rachel
