Well, since I procrastinated yet again on my blogging, I figured I would just post some of my favorite moments this summer… Summer Highlights

Emily Jane

My great friend Anne was recently gracious enough to include me in a very special part of her life. I am honored to say that I was invited to photograph her second child’s birth. Of course, I got the call at 5am and rushed to the hospital, but Emily Jane was already in mommy’s arms by then. I guess she was just ready to be born! I did get to capture all those special moments following the birth though, and I have to say, I hope I get to photograph more births! I was thrilled about all of the wonderful moments that unfolded. Laura’s Maternity Session

A couple of months ago I got to meet Laura and Brian at their house to take maternity photos.  They were so excited to be parents!  Of course, I’m so delayed on my blog posts, that I’ve now taken their newborn photos!  I can’t wait to share those too!

Molly’s Maternity Session

I was so thrilled when I got an email from Molly a few weeks ago telling me that she was pregnant and wanted me to take her maternity photos!  I love getting the opportunity to continue photographing my couples through all their big moments in life.  It was so great seeing Molly again and I was psyched to have her mom and sister there to help!  Her sister was just as excited about these photos as she was on Molly’s wedding day.  I kept hearing her giddie laughter behind me as we shot.  It was such a fun shoot!!!!

The other fun part was that I got to play with some off-camera flash again.  I am really happy with the result!  Here are some to check out… Molly Maternity

Bekah and Josh’s Maternity Session

A few months ago, Bekah and Josh met up with me at Picnic Rock in the Poudre Canyon.  We had a really fun shoot playing in the water, etc.  When she got the photos, she surprised me and said, “I bet you didn’t realize these were maternity photos.”  I was so excited for them!  Since then, we planned a real maternity session (and soon a newborn session).  It was finally time for the baby bump to make it’s debut a few weeks ago.  Here’s some shots from our day…

Melissa’s Maternity session

Last Tuesday night I got a call from my close friend Anne telling me that her close friend Melissa wanted to have a last minute maternity session.  By last minute, I mean last minute.  She was already having contractions!  I rushed down to Denver for her session on Wednesday just in the nick of time.  She is now a proud mommy of a beautiful baby girl!  I am really looking forward to our newborn session now!  Here are some of my favorite photos from last Wednesday…
