What have I been up to (other than expanding my beautiful family)?

Hello from the depths of motherhood!!!!!  I am finally beginning to resurface and join the ranks of the living/working!!!!  Though I have been technically on maternity leave, I have been busy!!!  I am forever grateful to have a job I actually look forward to even after a sleepless night (still happening, by the way).  That being said, I would love to share a few of the images I have taken over the last year that I have procrastinated on posting…

Denver Family Photography – The Tabb Family

I have been SO honored to continue photographing so many couples that have started with me from their engagements through all their new babies! The Tabb family has probably had me around the longest. I just LOVE them!!!! We got to photograph them with their second new addition, Teagan (and of course Aidan), last weekend at my house. It was cool playing around with the light in my house. Denver Family Photography – The Hart Family

I’ve recently become a member of Highland Mommies and it’s been a GREAT resource for finding out info on neighborhood schools, current events and all the happenings around town.  I was able to post info about my business there too and got bookings immediately!  Thank you Highland Mommies!!!!  Anyway, the first session from this group was the Hart Family.  Here are some of my favorite shots… Hart They have the coolest old house and we had a blast playing!

Emily Jane

My great friend Anne was recently gracious enough to include me in a very special part of her life. I am honored to say that I was invited to photograph her second child’s birth. Of course, I got the call at 5am and rushed to the hospital, but Emily Jane was already in mommy’s arms by then. I guess she was just ready to be born! I did get to capture all those special moments following the birth though, and I have to say, I hope I get to photograph more births! I was thrilled about all of the wonderful moments that unfolded. Sweet Jude’s newborn photos

Well, I told you I’m behind on my blogging, and here’s the proof!  Remember Laura’s maternity session?  Well, little Jude is already here!

He is such a deep little thinker.  We had many magical moments during the shoot where he would be upset, then completely calm listening to the clicks of my camera.  He is definitely going to be like his mommy because he loves the camera!!!!  I had a blast photographing this little treasure.  I hope I get to do it again soon!!!!  Here are some shots from the shoot… Jude
