Big news!

I have some great news! I recently found out that Jen and Gregg’s wedding will be featured in a Just Married story in the 2009 Fall/Winter issue of The Knot Colorado magazine and website!

I also received a FIRST PLACE in the most recent WPJA competition! Here’s the winning image…

JUDGES COMMENTS: Great faces for all the girls in the photo, including those reflected in the mirror. Clearly the stand-out in this category. Might have cropped a bit from the top to avoid the slight reflection of the photographer (though it’s not apparent at first).

Laura and Alessandro’s Wedding – Perugia, Italy!

I am so excited to share Laura and Alessandro’s wedding photos! I feel like there is so much to tell about their incredible day! From the salon where the girls got their hair done, to the church of San Filippo Neri (the only authentic Baroque building in Perugia), to the private home in Solomeo where we rode Alessandro’s 1970′s Fiat (Italy’s version of the VW Beetle) and broke down next to a sunflower field, the whole day felt very “Italian” to me. It was so awesome!!!! I hope I get to go back soon! I’m even brushing up on my Italian as we speak!

I feel so lucky to have been asked to be a part of Laura and Alessandro’s wedding. Every member of their family and all of their friends were truly wonderful people! I couldn’t have asked to be more welcomed than they made me feel. I even made an appearance in their slideshow because I was asked to dance with so many of their guests! Another Award!

Wow!  I am so excited about where my life has been heading these days.  I feel truly honored to have another photo chosen from the WPJA judges.  This one is even more special because it is going to appear in the November/December issue of BRIDES magazine.  The magazine is doing a feature article on the WPJA and hosted this awesome contest.  If you want to see the rest of the winning images click here or here.  This is the image of mine that they chose (you can find it under the Group/Bridal Party category)…
