What have I been up to (other than expanding my beautiful family)?

Hello from the depths of motherhood!!!!!  I am finally beginning to resurface and join the ranks of the living/working!!!!  Though I have been technically on maternity leave, I have been busy!!!  I am forever grateful to have a job I actually look forward to even after a sleepless night (still happening, by the way).  That being said, I would love to share a few of the images I have taken over the last year that I have procrastinated on posting…

Steph and Seth’s wedding at Mount Vernon Country Club in Golden, CO

What an awesome day I had at Steph and Seth’s wedding!!!!!!  They are SO fun and a couple of the sweetest people I’ve ever met.  On top of an all around great wedding, I also had an awesome opportunity to have myself taped while at work!  Craig Evans of Memories in Motion followed Steve (one of my amazing second shooters) and I around the whole day, so that I can add a little video to my website.  I feel that one of my strongest attributes is how well I work on a wedding day and I want to share that with you!

I felt so honored that Steph and Seth had so many nice things to say about me in the exit interview.  I think you guys rock too!!!!   I am hoping to get the video up soon, but in the mean time here are some shots from the wedding…

Brenda and Matt’s wedding at Rocky Mountain National Park in Estes Park, CO

I met Brenda and Matt a few months ago and was so thrilled to be a part of their big day.  Brenda is one of those people who has no idea how beautiful she is inside and out.  Because of this, she wanted to have a tiny intimate ceremony in Estes Park with only their bridal party, me, and their pastor.  It was so different from what I’m used to, but it was WONDERFUL!!!!  I loved how it was all about them.  Here are a few of my favorite photos…  Brenda and Matt

Melissa and Kevin’s wedding at the Donovan Pavilion in Vail, CO

What a beautiful wedding these two had.  We worried about rain all day up in Vail (they were married at the Donovan Pavilion), and mother nature just seemed to know when to stop.  Just as everyone took their seats, the sun came out and it was perfect weather!

I have had a close connection with Melissa and Kevin ever since I met them.  They are extremely genuine and caring people.  I feel so honored to know them.  Their  wedding made me realize that everyone in their lives feel the same way.  Here are some shots from their day (my photo friend Steve Stanton helped me out and did a great job!-some of these shots are his)…  Melissa and Kevin

Holly and Ryan’s Wedding in Eagle, CO

Holly and Ryan had a beautiful wedding up at the Eagle Vail Pavilion in Eagle, CO.  I have known Holly since she was in High School (her mom and I used to work together and have been friends since), so it was really cool to see her taking this huge step in her life.  I am so glad she found Ryan.  He is truly great for her.  The weather worked out perfect.  It rained off an on just until the ceremony began.  The timing couldn’t have been better!  Here are some of my favorites from the day… Holly and Ryan

Lesley and James’ Wedding at the Lionscrest Manor in Lyons, CO

Lesley and James had the best wedding on July 28th at Lionscrest Manor in Lyons!  The wedding was special to me because Lesley actually changed her wedding day just to have me as her photographer!  To say that we had an instant connection is an understatement.  She even came to my house to check on my sick kitty this winter (she’s a Vet in Fort Collins).  I have been so honored to have her in my life and to be a part of her big day.
