Danna and Bill’s Wedding in San Francisco, CA

Few!  I’m finally posting Danna and Bill’s wedding!  It was such a great couple of days hanging out and shooting them!  We started on Friday for an “engagement” session by the Golden Gate Bridge and had a great wedding on Saturday on a boat that patroled the San Francisco Bay.  It was absolutely beautiful!  Here are my favorite highlights from the trip…

Danna and Bill both got ready at a gorgeous hotel called The Inn Above Tide right on the bay…

The rooms had spectacular views!

The boat was like a small cruise ship.  It was so cool!

Bill never officially proposed to Danna, so he decided to do it right before she walked up the isle.  This was her reaction…

It was such an emotional ceremony.  I love this photo because they are still crying!

San Francisco!

I just got back from San Francisco to photograph Danna and Bill’s wedding on the San Francisco Bay.  It worked out great for us because my whole family got to go and we stayed with my sister-in-law and her boyfriend Mike.  I’m still working on the edits from the wedding, but here are some highlights from the city and surrounding areas…

The flowers at Half Moon Bay were gorgeous!

The scenery was to die for at Half Moon Bay.  It was like walking into a dream.

There were cool puddles (I’m sure there’s a more technical term for them) in all the rocks along the shore…

I climbed up onto some rocks that were being crashed into by waves…

And when I looked closer I saw that the rocks were completely covered by muscles.  It was really cool…

This was what I saw when we first walked down to Half Moon Bay.  Absolutely gorgeous!

My sister-in-laws’ boyfriend, Mike, gave us a great tour of the city.  I got a lot of drive-by shots of cool buildings.  I just thought this was hilarious!

I can’t remember the name of this street, but it’s the “curviest” in the country!

If you’ve ever seen the movie “The Sweetest Thing,”  you’ll recognize this street because they dance up it in the beginning…

There were TONS of cool murals!

Sorry if I bored you with so many photos.  We just had a blast!  If, by a slight chance, you want to see more, you can check out my daughter’s blog here.

Jen and Mike’s wedding in Los Angeles, CA

In case you haven’t noticed, I’m catching up on some blogging today.  I’ve been really busy, but I want to be sure to post everything I’ve been doing.  Anyway, onto the posts…

A few posts ago I mentioned I was out of town for a friend’s wedding in LA.  Jen was my freshman year roommate in college (CU Boulder).  I still remember the day we moved in together (also the first time we met face to face).  We stayed up until 3am just getting to know each other and having a great time.  I will never forget that night and mostly that year.  It was one of the best experiences in my life and I owe that mostly to her.  We have stayed in touch ever since, even though she moved back to her home town in LA after school.

I got the call last fall that she was getting married to an awesome guy that completely fit the description of who she wanted to end up with in college.  I could not have been happier for her!  I was invited to the wedding as a guest (a nice change) but of course I had to take some shots of my own.  Here are some of my favorites…
