April 20, 2009 — Alison WillliamsI am SO EXCITED to finally share the photos from Justin and Emily’s wedding in Troncones. I wish I had the words to describe my experience over the 6 days I was there with their wonderful group of family and friends as well as the locals, the food, and the unbelievable scenery. I guess I would say that Troncones, Mexico is one of my favorite places in the world. I am itching to get back there. The wedding and reception both took place right near the ocean waves at The Present Moment Retreat. It was SO MAGICAL! Thank you, thank you, thank you Emily, Justin, and the rest for including me as not only your photographer, but your friend! Destination Wedding in Troncones, Mexico!
March 11, 2009 — Alison WillliamsWow! What an awesome trip!!!!! I just got back from shooting Emily and Justin’s incredible wedding in Troncones, Mexico (near Acapulco and Zihuatanejo). I have to say that I think Troncones is one of my favorite places I’ve ever been!!!! It is friendly, secluded, tiny, gorgeous, and the food… oh the food! If you think you have had authentic Mexican food, you are in for a treat in Troncones. We bought an entire roasted chicken next to the small grocery store that was marinated and cooked over a fire pit in front of us that was unreal. I moaned through most of my meals…
I feel so fortunate to have been invited to join this wonderful group of people!!!! Emily and Justin treated me like family and I feel like all of their guests and I will be friends forever! Thank you SOOOOO much for having me.
I’ll leave you with one of the last shots from the whole trip. I took it after Emily and Justin’s trash the dress session. She was just strolling along the beach to soak it in one last time before their trip home and the pelicans decided to put on a show for her…

Playa Del Carmen, Mexico Day 4 – my first Trash the Dress session!!!
May 31, 2008 — Alison WillliamsDay 3 of my trip to Playa was a great day to rest up and get to bed early for Steph and Rod’s Trash the Dress session. We met just before 6am so we could shoot during the sunrise and it was totally worth the loss of sleep! I am so excited to say that I think my first Trash the Dress session went really well, and it was a blast! I even trashed myself. It was great. So, without further delay…
